"Freddy" Flintstone gets most respect from Peanut.
Mentok and his trusty bailiff.
|
With a brilliant opening sequence strikingly similar to the opening credits
of HBO's The Sopranos, Fred "Freddy" Flintstone has been accused
of being the don of an organized crime ring based in Bedrock.
Harvey is on the case defending Freddy's innocence as Spyro returns as the prosecutor for the state. Judge Mightor was set to preside over the trial, however he was involved in a very suspicious construction accident so that Judge Mentok the Mindtaker has to sit in for him.
Spyro calls up witnesses such as the Flintstone's Tarydactyl Lamp and
Toucan Can Opener, who were really taps placed by the government. Harvey's
defense is that Fred has had bowling balls dropped on his head a great
deal, causing him to adopt the persona of a mob boss.
Through many scenes of beheaded horses placed in Harvey's bed, and Pebble's
baptism (a la The Godfather), the final verdict comes in that
Fred is innocent. Harvey later finds out Fred truly is not a mob boss.
It is Barney Rubble who calls the shots in this family. Cue the Italian
opera music.
